Martin Becomes Nebraska's 7th State Assembly President Castin Martin was voted in as the Nebraska State Assembly President at the Winter Workshop March 5th, 2023. She becoming the 7th President in NSA history. Martin is currently a Certified Surgical Technologist at Doctors Outpatient Surgery Center in Lincoln, Nebraska and helps the Surgical Technology program at Southeast Community College as an adjunct clinical instructor. She had previously worked at Bryan West in trauma as a CST. Castin has held many positions within the NSA including serving on the board, Secretary and Vice President. She is a graduate of SCC Surgical Technology program class of 2014 and was inducted into the National Honors Society. When she isn't in the operating room, Castin loves spending time with her husband and two rescue dogs, Ruby and Lola. Congratulations Castin!!
